CROWDS have begun to flock into Burnley in preparation for the Queen’s visit this morning, accompanied by Prince Philip and Prince Charles.
Well-wishers have gathered along the canal and are starting to line the streets to catch a glimpse of the Royal party on this historic visit.
National and local media are also taking up their positions to capture the visit.
In the town centre, union flags are being sold and the happy crowds have been boosted by a group of German exchange students ready to see the Royal party.
