A DRUG dealing couple, who supplied heroin on the streets of Burnley, have been jailed for a total of three years four months.
Mark Wilkinson (33) and Hazel Redman (33) both of Kime Street, Burnley, were sentenced at Preston Crown Court on Wednesday, March 7th.
Wilkinson was jailed for 16 months after pleading guilty to two counts of possession with intent to supply heroin and Redman was given 24 months after pleading guilty to two counts of supplying heroin and section 20 wounding.
Both were arrested after an investigation by Pennine Division’s Targeted Crime Team during which officers discovered heroin and cash.
Det. Sgt Martin Kennedy said: “Redman and Wilkinson were both street level dealers who supplied heroin to people in the Burnley area.
“We know the devastating impact drugs can have on individuals and on the wider community and we will continue to do everything we can to target the dealers and remove them from out streets.”
