Three arrested over Burnley student robbery

THREE men have been arrested in connection with the robbery of a Burnley student.

Michael Conway (31) was robbed and assaulted as he walked home from Burnley College.

The computing student was left needing facial reconstruction surgery after suffering a broken jaw and shattered cheekbones in the daylight attack on March 28th.

Police confirmed that three men aged 21, 22 and 23 were arrested yesterday on suspicion of robbery.

The men have been bailed pending further inquiries.
