A TEENAGE girl from Burnley has gone missing from Staffordshire.
Bethany Wallace (14) who grew up in Cog Lane and went to Hameldon High School, had been living in local authority care in Abbey Hulton when she told staff she was going shopping on Saturday afternoon.
Staffordshire Police have now launched a missing persons hunt and hundreds of posters have gone up around Burnley where she has many friends.
She is described as white, 5ft.1in. tall with a slim build and shoulder-length, black, straight hair, brown eyes and a fair complexion.
She was last seen wearing black jeans, a white T-shirt with pink writing on it and white plimsoles.
A spokesman for Staffordshire Police said: “We consider Bethany to be vulnerable and we are concerned for her welfare.
“Extensive searches are underway to locate her and we would ask that anyone who has seen her, or had any contact, to get in touch.”
