FAMILY and friends are mourning the tragic death of a young Padiham woman following a house party.

Miss Kelly Moore (25) was found dead at a house in Russell Terrace, Padiham, on Saturday lunchtime.

Following the terrible discovery, police arrested six men and one woman on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs.

They have all been released on police bail.

Kelly, a support worker at Burnley General Hospital, lived in Pendle Street, just around the corner from the house where she died.

It is believed she had been on a night out with friends and returned to a house party at Russell Terrace where she was found at 12-30 p.m. on Saturday.

Six men aged (24), (22), (20), (22), (25) and (21) as well as a 23-year-old woman, all from the Burnley and Padiham area, must answer police bail on May 9th.

A post-mortem examination was carried out on Tuesday but further toxicological tests have been requested. East Lancashire Coroner Mr Richard Taylor opened and adjourned an inquest on Thursday.

Scores of floral tributes have been left outside the door of the house in Russell Terrace in memory of the popular young woman.
