Police seeking two women in connection to cash machine theft

Police want to speak to two women in connection to the theft of money from a Burnley cash machine

The incident happened outside Barclays Bank, St James’s Street, on Thursday, October 8th, at 12-50pm when a man requested £300 from his account at the cash machine in Burnley town centre.

He believed that the machine was faulty and walked away. However, the machine had released £300 from his account which was stolen shortly afterwards.

A police spokesman said: “We are looking to speak to two girls captured in CCTV images in connection with the offence and would ask anyone with any information to contact police on 101 quoting reference EF1509337.”
