Burnley police have recovered a quantity of heroin and arrested two people after the execution of a drugs warrant, which was carried out yesterday.

According to a police statement, the drugs warrant was executed yesterday morning at an address on Dall Street in Burnley, where a quantity of the class A drug heroin was recovered and two people arrested.

One of those arrested was also wanted for a recall to prison, and subsequently spent the night in custody and was due to be on transported back to prison this morning.

The police statement read: "Drug dealing is a priority for the Neighbourhood Policing Team in Burnleywood .
