Police have arrested one of the three wanted men they have been searching for since before Christmas.

Stuart John Davey (41) from Bolton Road in Blackburn was arrested on January 3rd and charged with robbery at an address on Faraday Street in Burnley on December 18th whereby a television and phone were stolen from the home of an 85 year-old man.

The case has been sent to Burnley Crown Court on January 22nd.

Two other men are still being sought. Brian Furlong (50), originally from London, is wanted on a prison recall.

He was originally jailed in 2010 for two burglaries in Padiham and was sentenced to four years. He was released on licence in July. However, it is believed he has since breached the terms of that licence and has been recalled to prison to serve the remainder of his sentence.

Furlong is described as being of slim build, around 5ft. 8in. tall with a North-West accent. He has brown eyes and short grey hair and has a Union flag and West Ham tattoo on his right arm.

Lee Roberts (33), from Burnley, is wanted for failing to appear at Burnley Crown Court and a warrant has been issued for his arrest.

He was due to appear at court charged with three counts of burglary in Nelson committed on September 6th. The warrant for his arrest was issued on December 6th.

Roberts is described as being of slim build, around 6ft. 2in. tall with a North-West accent. He has blue eyes and short dark brown hair. He has signs of the zodiac tattoos on his right arm.

He has previously lived in the Burnley area but his current whereabouts are unknown.

Sgt Paul Gaynor said: “If anybody knows where these men are currently, or if they have been in contact with them recently, I would urge them to contact police on 101 quoting log reference LC-20131223-0533 or Crime stoppers on 0800 555 111.”
