Pair deny Burnley man’s murder

Two men have pleaded not guilty to the murder of Burnley man Keith Passmore and will now stand trial in July.

Paul Howarth (47), of Clifton Road, and Gary Burley (44), of Herbert Street, Burnley, pleaded not guilty at Liverpool Crown Court and were remanded in custody.

The body of 60-year-old Mr Passmore was discovered by police at a flat in Clifton Road, off Padiham Road, in January.

Howarth and Burley will now stand trial in Liverpool on July 13th.
