Murder probe latest - Man died from head and neck injuries

A MAN found unconscious at his Burnley home died from head and neck injuries, a post-mortem has revealed.

The 51-year-old was found slumped on the floor at his Reed Street home on Wednesday night and he was pronounced dead at the scene.

A murder probe was launched into the man’s death and five people were arrested by police. A 49-year-old woman and three men aged 42, 45 and 48 are still being questioned by detectives.

A 20-year-old woman has been released with no further action.

Police are still appealing for information about the death of the 51-year-old.
