A MAN who went on the run before he was due to be sentenced in connection with the death of a Burnley baby has been arrested by police.

Edward Hanratty (41), of Dirkhill Road, Bradford, has been arrested in West Yorkshire and has since been remanded into custody. He will appear for sentencing at Preston Crown Court on Wednesday, February 27th.

Hanratty admitted child neglect in December in connection with the death of four-month-old Kian McMillan who died when a television fell on his head.
