Man exposes himself to young girl

Police are appealing for information after a man indecently exposed himself to a 12-year-old girl in Burnley.

The incident happened at around 11-35am on Thursday when a man exposed himself to the victim in a wooded area on Kiddrow Lane.

The man is described as being in his 80s and was wearing a flat cap.

DS Lee Walker of Burnley CID said: “This is a disturbing incident for the victim and we are keen to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time and may have witnessed what happened or who saw a man matching this description.

"If anyone has any information that could assist with our enquiries I would them to contact us as soon as possible.”
