Man admits Burnley New Year’s Eve siege

A Burnley man has pleaded guilty to three charges relating to a New Year’s Eve siege at a house in the town.

Luke Entwistle, of Escott Gardens, admitted one count of false imprisonment of Emma Brown, at Burnley crown Court.

He also pleaded guilty to making a threat to kill and a further charge of affray between December 30th and 31st last year.

He was remanded in custody and will be sentenced at Preston Crown Court on May 6th.
