Police are appealing for information following the incident which happened around 11-50pm on Monday, September 24th, when a black Hackney cab parked in Chatburn Park Drive, Brierfield, was set on fire causing extensive damage.
PC Lucy Garnett said: “This attack was on an innocent person’s property and whoever did this showed a total disregard for people’s safety due to the vehicle being parked just yards away from occupied houses. Fortunately nobody was injured.
