THE building in Burnley town centre gutted by a huge fire is to be pulled down.
Fire cheifs confirmed on Thursday morning that the building in Temple Street, at the junction with Plumbe Street, had become too unsafe and contractors would start demolision the same day.
Roof supports had been weakened and walls were hanging off following the blaze which started shortly before 2 p.m. on Wednesday.
Business Union Cabs, Sky Bird lettings, Delicious Pizza and a launderette had to be evacuated as a result of the fire.
Two youths from Burnley have been arrested on suspicion of arson following the fire.
