A drunken man smashed a car rear windscreen when he lashed out after a row at a house in Padiham, a court heard.
Burnley magistrates were told how Ryan Alexander Lourie (20) was found by police with his hands covered in blood after the early hours outburst on Saturday, February 13th and he was arrested.
Lourie had at first been given a caution over the incident on condition he pay £100 compensation, but didn't.
The defendant, of Granby Street, Burnley, admitted damaging the Ford Fiesta belonging to Jennifer Kenyon. He was given a 12-month conditional discharge and must pay £100 compensation, £85 costs and a £15 victim surcharge.
The hearing was told Lourie became argumentative and left the property he had been at without his shoes on. A witness saw him standing next to the vehicle, with blood on his knuckles.
In interview, the defendant said he was sorry for his actions.
