A drug dealer, who supplied cocaine and heroin on the streets, has been locked up for three years.
Sakhawat Rafiq (27), of no fixed address, appeared at Burnley Crown Court with six drug charges.
Three related to the supply of crack cocaine, two to the supply of heroin and one of offering to supply a Class A drug.
He had been picked up as a street dealer during an undercover police operation, and had featured on “Crimewatch”.
The offences dated back to July and August of last year.
The court heard he had dealt cocaine in transactions worth up to £30, and on one occasion a heroin deal earned him £75.
Camille Morland (defending) told the court how Rafiq was from the Leicester area, how he has still got family over there, and how he has ambitions to “get some education”.
She said: “He is realistic about his situation.”
Mr Recorder William Smith said he had taken into consideration the early guilty plea when handing out the sentence.
He ordered for the forfeiture of the drugs and made Rafiq pay a £120 victim surcharge.
