Burnley Spar robbed – police description

POLICE are hunting a pair of balaclava-clad robbers who stole £2,000 from a Burnley Spar shop.

The shop in Todmorden Road was raided last night at 9-30 p.m. when two men burst into the premises, jumped over the counter and grabbed money from the till.

Nobody was injured and police are now looking for two white men aged in their mid-20s.

One of the offenders was wearing a water proof blue hoodie, Addidas trainers, black gloves and black tracksuit bottoms.

The other man was described as wearing a black water proof jacket, black Umbro trousers and black Addidas trainers.
