A 22-year-old Burnley man has been handed a suspended sentence for sexually assaulting a teenage girl.
Burnley Crown Court heard how Anthony Hart, of Spencer Street, Burnley, left his victim, “scared and crying” following the incident.
He was given 18 months in jail, suspended for two years.
Passing sentence, Miss Recorder Suzanne Goddard QC said: “You still suffer from a lack of insight.
“You need to pay close attention to the help that is going to be given to you by the probation service.”
Hart was also handed a supervision order, and must continue with his sexual offences prevention order.
