CANNABIS with an estimated street value of more than £13,000 has been discovered at a house in Burnley.
Officers found a crop of 33 plants at the address on Bank Parade close to the town centre on Saturday.
A 49-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of cultivating cannabis and has been released on police bail pending further enquiries.
Community Beat Manager PC Paul Marsden said: “We were acting on information from the public and once again, have prevented a large amount of cannabis from reaching the streets of Burnley.
“I urge anyone with information or concerns about cannabis to contact the police.”
