Friends and family donned claret and blue to pay tribute to a devoted Burnley Football Club fan who died earlier this month.
Stephen Connor (30), who lived in Chorley, died on December 8th after collapsing while playing football for Sunday league team Plough FC.
Hundreds of people wore the colours of his beloved Burnley FC for his funeral at St John The Evangelist Church, in Whittle-le-Woods yesterday.
His new wife, Nicola, who he married at the church in September, wore a claret and blue hat and scarf.
