A LOCAL company at the forefront of solar power systems has been chosen by one of its suppliers to join a prestigious partnership scheme.
USA-based solar panel supplier Sunpower has set up the partnership scheme to recognise its most trusted retailers across the world.
Solarlec – which is already one of Sunpower’s handful of authorised UK dealers – said it was honoured to accept its position in the scheme.
Companies must meet strict requirements in order to gain entry to the partnership scheme, including giving Sunpower access to a number of installations of its products to carry out technical inspections on the level of workmanship displayed.
Ged Rowbottom, director at Solarlec, said: “Solarlec is honoured to be invited to join the prestigious Sunpower Partnership Scheme.
“Sunpower’s solar panels are the most efficient in the world, recognised globally for their performance, quality and output.
“For a company like Sunpower to acknowledge us publicly as a partner strengthens our fantastic working relationship with such an internationally successful company.”
Solarlec, winner of Burnley Small Business of the Year 2011, installs more than 1,200 panels every month across the UK. For more information, visit: www.solarlec.com
