Pendle’s leading hotel – the Oaks at Reedley – has expanded its 60-strong team and appointed a new general manager, assistant manager and wedding and function coordinator as a result of continued success and growth.
With nearly a decade of experience in hospitality, David Martin (29), from Darwen, is the hotel’s newly appointed general manager, with experience in a similar role at the Dunkenhalgh Hotel, Clayton-le-Moors, as bar and restaurant manager.
David is now responsible for managing the day-to-day running at the Oaks as well as overseeing all aspects of business development.
Donna Evenson, from Burnley, has worked as a wedding and function coordinator for more than five years before starting her position at the Oaks Hotel.
The 51 bed hotel’s events and functions are also often managed by newly appointed assistant manager Daniel Balshaw.
The 27 year-old from Nelson has previously worked in event and bar management roles across the North West, as well as working in hospitality for six months in France.
