GRAND OPENING: Coun. Andy Tatchell and shoppers flock to The Range

The Range Burnley has opened its doors with Mayor Coun. Andy Tatchell cutting the official ribbon last Friday.

The Mayor, and Mayoress Lorna Thatchell, along with the owner of The Range, Chris Dawson, were present at the grand opening as shoppers came along to the Ashfield Retail Centre store to have a look at the new store.

Owned and run by Plymouth-based entrepreneur Mr Dawson, The Range offers quality products at affordable prices across 16 departments including DIY, homewares and arts and crafts.

The Burnley store also boasts an extensive garden centre.

The new store has created over 100 jobs from warehouse staff and sales assistants to store and office managers.

Mr Dawson said: “We are excited about our new store in Burnley and we are pleased to invite the community down to see what we are all about.

“The feedback we have had already has been really positive. I am confident that the new store will soon become an integrated part of the community. It’s an incredible start to 2015.”

The celebrations continue as The Range is offering £10 off your purchase when you spend £50 in store until Friday February 13th. See in-store for details.
