Staff and customers from a Burnley electrical company have given their backing to British servicemen and women taking part in an international sporting event.
Workers at YESSS Electrical, on the Burnley Bridge Business Park, have passed on their good luck messages in a giant card which is touring branches of the firm around the country.
The card is in support of the British Armed Forces team who are taking part in the Invictus Games in London next month.
The games will see more than 400 competitors from 14 nations compete in nine adaptive sports including sitting volleyball, athletics, archery, wheelchair basketball, road cycling, indoor rowing, wheelchair rugby, powerlifting, swimming and driving challenge.
Mr Andy Singleton, one of the founding directors of YESSS, said: “The entire YESSS organisation is fully behind the Invictus Games and we wanted to demonstrate this by presenting the British Armed Forces team taking part with something which would show our appreciation and offer words of support and encouragement ahead of the games.
“Taking the good luck card on a tour across the country will allow the entire organisation to get involved and give them the opportunity to offer their sentiments of good luck to the team.”
