Carefully-crafted pieces of furniture by talented Burnley College students are currently on display.
The work, by students at Burnley College and UCLan Burnley School of Furniture, is being exhibited at Towneley Hall until Wednesday, July 2nd.
The exhibition was officially opened by Master of the Worshipful Company of Furniture Makers Paul von der Heyde. From chaise lounges to elegant side tables, sofas and contemporary statement pieces, each project has been crafted with care and an impressive level of dedication.
A spokesman for Burnley College said: “It’s great to see Lancashire celebrating the amazing young talent coming from the Burnley College School of Furniture and the wider construction department.
“College pupils, as well as apprentices as young as 16, have worked in conjunction with local furniture firms and crafted the impressive pieces of furniture. Some items are for sale, while others are for the public to browse around.”
