BURNLEY manager Eddie Howe was more than happy to make time for the fans as he opened a new Clarets store in town at the weekend.

Just hours before the huge derby clash against Blackpool, Howe cut the ribbon to officially open ClaretsStore.com, next to Costa Coffee in St James’s Street.

He then spent half-an-hour posing for pictures and signing autographs as young and old waited patiently to see the popular boss.

“It’s very important to have a store like this in the town, important for the fans but also important for the club,” he said. “It’s great that all these fans are here. The Burnley supporters are fantastic and so friendly. It’s always a pleasure to meet them.”
