A MAN set to climb Mount Kilimanjaro for charity has been sponsored by a Burnley-based company with the same name and he has offered his Twitter domain in return.
James Hargreaves Ltd has agreed a £750 sponsorship package with namesake James Hargreaves (23) to support his 1,9340ft. challenge up Africa’s highest peak in June, in aid of deafblind charity SENSE.
The company approached James some time ago about his Twitter domain name.
“Initially, we negotiated a little on the intrinsic value, but the company was more than happy to back me to the tune of £750 for charity and that suited me fine,” said James, a customer support specialist from Solihull. “I have no hang-ups about the domain name and it is of greater value to a commercial operation.”
