A VERY special guest has given a Burnley pub a launch day to remember.

Just 48 hours before Burnley’s crunch derby clash with Blackburn, Clarets boss Sean Dyche found the time to officially open the Queen Hotel in Cliviger.

Owner Mr Graham Knott said he could not believe it when the club said he would be available and thanked Mr Dyche for making it an “unforgettable” day.

“It was unbelievable,” said Mr Knott, who has fully refurbished the pub in recent weeks. “He is a really nice person. There were around 50 people there and he took time out for everybody even though it was obviously a busy weekend for him. He had his photo taken, signed autographs and was there for about 40 minutes. It was an unforgettable day.”
