A NATIONWIDE coaching service is inviting ambitious Burnley business owners and directors to a free seminar designed to help them explore how best to access business growth opportunities.

GrowthAccelerator, a partnership between private enterprise and government that provides tailored business advice and coaching to fast-growing businesses, has teamed up with Business First and Burnley Council to run the free half- day seminar, on Wednesday 23rd January.

Held at Business First’s offices on Liverpool Road, Burnley, the seminar will provide an introduction to GrowthAccelerator, followed by two short workshops, focusing on the themes of business strategy and facilitating fast business growth. GrowthAccelerator works with businesses to identify areas for improvement, and then matches companies with proven business experts to connect them to the advice, support and coaching they need to fulfil their growth potential. Businesses who sign up to GrowthAccelerator can also access up to £2,000 match funding for each of their senior managers or directors, matching pound for pound the investment businesses themselves make on senior management training, to enable them to grow.

Business leaders attending next week’s free seminar will have the chance to meet some of the GrowthAccelerator dedicated Growth Coaches who work alongside businesses. The event is open to owners or directors of well-established Burnley businesses who have an ambitious appetite for growth and are looking to double the size of their business over the next three years. Places are limited, but interested businesspeople should contact Leigh-Anne Barrowclough on lb@b1.co.uk. The seminar will run from 9am to 12pm, and there is ample free parking available on-site.
