The Range is coming to Burnley in January and will created around 100 part-time and full-time jobs.

The new store will be located at Ashfield Retail Centre on Calder Vale Road and will open on January 30th 2015.

The Range is owned and run by Plymouth-based entrepreneur Chris Dawson and is recognised for offering more than 65,000 quality products across 16 departments including DIY, homewares, furniture and arts and crafts, all at affordable prices.

The Range is bringing thousands of new, much-needed jobs into the retail sector of the UK economy and the new store in Burnley is no exception. The new jobs will range from store and department managers to warehouse workers and administrators which will allow opportunities for staff to develop skills and grow with the company.

Owner Chris Dawson said: “We feel that The Range is a unique shopping experience that has something for everyone and we are confident that the people of Burnley will enjoy what The Range has to offer.

“We are a fast growing company and I am confident that The Range Burnley will play an important role in our expansion. I would personally like to thank Burnley Council for welcoming us and being so supportive. I look forward to inviting the people of Burnley down to see what we are all about in the New Year.”
