Poundworld to open in Burnley: 30 new jobs

BUDGET retailer Poundworld is opening a new store in Burnley which will create 30 new jobs for the town.

Officially opening to the public at 10am on Thursday, the new store will be located at the Mall in Charter Walk Shopping Centre.

Chris Edwards Junior, trading director at Poundworld, said: “We’re really delighted to be opening our first store in Burnley, creating 30 new jobs for the area. We look forward to welcoming customers through our doors”

Poundworld was founded in 1997 and has more than 170 stores across the UK.
