A burst main sent water flooding down a Burnley street on Saturday night.
The incident happened at 7-30pm in Oak Street at the junction with Ivory Street.
Firefighters and engineers from United Utilities were called.
Station manager Steve Morgan said: “When we arrived a significant amount of water was flooding down the street.
“There wasn’t a lot we could do although we used an appliance to close the street while our colleagues from United Utilities fixed the main.
“It took around 25 minutes in total.”
