Burnley Probus Club's Centenary celebrations
The Burnley Probus Club recently welcomed a speaker to the establishment to give an informative lecture on WWI and to mark the Centerary celebrations.
Denis North of the Western Front Association was welcomed by the club on November 11th, speaking on WWI amidst the town's celebrations for the Centenary in commemoration of the war.
At 11 o'clock, the meeting stopped for the Last Post Reveille, played by David Ganthorpe from the Salvation Army, followed by commemorative silence.
