A BURNLEY fund-raiser with a thirst for challenges is embarking on his most gruelling one yet.

Jonathan Bracewell will take on the Welsh 3000s Challenge on Friday, June 15th as he continues to raise money for Pendleside Hoapice and Derian House.

The Welsh 3000 challenge will take Jonathan through three mountain ranges and over 14 peaks in under 16 hours, in and around Snowdonia.

And to raise even more funds prior to the challenge Jonathan has organised a charity quiz night at Ighten Leigh Social Club on Thursday, May 31st, from 7-30 p.m.

Jonathan said: “I have chosen to do this challenge for two hospices as one is local to where I live and one is local to where I work. They are both worthy charities which do an amazing job.”

To find out more about the challenge or to enter the quiz, which is £5 per person and includes a pie and pea supper, ring Jonathan on 07525753734.

To sponsor Jonathan visit www.justgiving.com/Jonathan-Bracewell or text ‘jbra80£1/2/3/4/5/10’ to 70070.

If anybody out there would like to challenge themselves and raise money for Pendleside Hospice they can contact the fund-raising team on 01282 440128 or email samantha.bracewell@pendleside.org.uk.
