A Burnley fashionista saw her latest catwalk creations in the spotlight at one of the world’s biggest fashion events.
Carrie-Ann Kay paraded her new collection on the runway at London Fashion Week.
The talented former Burnley College student was invited by leading fashion figures to showcase her eye-catching designs in the Best of British category.
The up-and-coming designer’s London Fashion Week debut saw her “emerging trends” collection make a big splash with fashion editors and industry figures.
It was such a hit that the collection will now be flown out to America to appear at the Boston Fashion Week.
Carrie-Ann, who runs her own fashion label Rene K, said: “It was amazing. I am still recovering. I was one of two designers showing in the ‘Best of British’.
“It was very well received. People loved it. Everyone was taking photos and videos backstage and on the catwalk. When the skirt got ripped off everybody gasped and clapped.
“The collection is currently out on shoots but is being shipped out to Boston this week.”
