Magic and fantasy came together on Saturday when Burnley College was transformed into a wonderful Winter Wonderland.

Families flocked to the spectacular where, for the young at heart, Father Christmas and his friends the Snow Queen and the folk from Alice in Wonderland made the day a special Christmas memory.

Visitors tried skating on the ice rink, and tried their luck in a bumper raffle for a hamper, and those on the look out for unusual gifts and presents had plenty of choice from an eclectic range of stalls.

Festive crafts and food abounded. In the Polar Express café delicious selections of goodies pleased diners with a sweet tooth, and for those with hearty appetites food stalls were laden with tasty treats to ward off the weather.
