Burnley cheerleaders raise (the roof) for Pendleside

The Basically Cheer & Fitness group have raised £680 for Pendleside Hospice as they took part in Pendleside's three-mile sponsored walk, Little Hospice Super Heroes.

Lianne Hill, Basically Cheer & Fitness Leader, said: “Basically Cheer & Fitness, La Touche Finale, and Candy Cart Hire really enjoyed our day at the Little Hospice Heroes walk.

"The cheerleaders enjoyed performing for the crowd and as a group we are very pleased to have raised what we did for the Hospice by participating in the walk and also La Touche Finale selling raffle tickets to win free hire of the candy cart."

Sammi Graham, Fundraiser at Pendleside, said: “We are so grateful to Lianne for her continued support, she always has something in the pipeline to raise money for the hospice. Her next fundraiser is the ‘1 Big Zombiethon’ which is a family Halloween themed Zumbathon fancy dress party on Saturday, 29th October at the Kestral Suite in Burnley from 6pm.

"It is set to be a great event and is only £8 for adults £4 for children and £20 for a family ticket.”
