Burnley beer lovers say ‘cheers’

Real ale lovers were in high spirits as they raised a glass to Burnley Beer Festival.

Hundreds descended on Burnley Mechanics for the festival and three days of beer-soaked merriment.

Now in its second year, the event was organised by the East Lancashire Campaign for Real Ale who sourced more than 90 top quality ales from all over the country for the festival.

Ciders, perries and bottled beers complemented the wide choice of ales while visitors were also able to enjoy food, as well as some live music.

Have your say! Did you attend Burnley Beer Festival? What beers did you enjoy?
