The achievements of Burnley and Pendle’s young people are to be recognised thanks to a new awards scheme.

Organised by Burnley Youth Theatre, the first Burnley and Pendle Youth Achievement Awards are designed to celebrate the very special young people we have in our area.

Anyone who is aged between 8 and 18 and lives or goes to school/college in Burnley or Pendle is eligible to be nominated. The Burnley Express is supporting Burnley Youth Theatre with the awards.

The award ceremony is set to be a fantastic evening of celebration and entertainment and is to be held at BYT on Friday, September 16th, 2016.

To nominate a young person please email molly.ralphson@burnleyyouththeatre.org or call 01282 427767 to request a nomination form. Entries close at midnight on August 5th, 2016. Burnley Youth Theatre is a registered charity and has been established in the town since 1973.
