Appeal to trace next of kin after man dies

THE family of a 73-year-old man who died in Norwich earlier this week are being sought by Norwich Coroner’s Office.

Mr John Arthur Ward, who has links to Burnley, died at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital on Monday, June 27th. There are no suspicious circumstances and an inquest is due to be opened on Monday, July 4th.

Mr Ward lived in Chestnut Court, Norwich, but to date no next of kin have been identified.

He is believed to have been adopted as a child and in 1973 his name was John Arthur Waddington. He lived in Burnley during the 1960s and 1970s. In 1980 he changed his name to John Arthur Ward. He is believed to have been married twice.
