Have you seen this horticultural tractor?
A farmer is appealing for information to help trace a tractor that was stolen from his property.
On the night of May 20th/21st, 2011, three tractors were stolen from a farm near Brewood in Staffordshire.
They were a Mayfield MK12, an Arun Mayfield 8 and a Arun Hydrostatic model.
It is believed all three were offered for sale at various auto jumbles in the North West. However, at a sale near Garstang, on July 11th, the Arun Hydrostatic model was sold to an unknown buyer for a sum of approximately £400. Despite extensive enquiries by farmer Bill Castellan, the tractor has still not been found.
Mr Castellan said: “Have you seen this tractor in your vicinity? The model is unique being a development model. It is fitted with a hydrostatic transmission, twin wheels, fully adjustable handles, tool box bolted horizontally to rear column, chrome-plated adjustment handles for the handle bars and stainless steel nuts and bolts throughout. The engine fitted is a Honda model GX240 of 8 HP bearing the number G004-1229848.QE.
“If you have any information regarding this tractor, please call Staffordshire Police on 101 quote crime reference FZ33885-20/11.”
