POLICE are appealing for information about a man who is missing from home in Burnley.

Neil Turner (32) has not been seen by his family for five weeks and they are growing increasingly concerned for his welfare.

He was last seen by a neighbour near to his home address in Edgeworth Grove in Burnley on July 24th and it is thought that he has most likely travelled to the Blackburn area although there is a possibility he may also be in Burnley.

Det. Sgt Kim De Curtis, of Burnley CID, said: “Both Mr Turner’s family and the police are growing increasingly concerned for his welfare given that he has not been in contact with anyone for such a long time and we would appeal to anyone who thinks they may have seen him to contact police as soon as possible.”

Mr Turner is white, with dark brown collar-length hair and has a North-West accent. He has a tattoo of a lion on his left shoulder and a sword on his right shoulder. He also has a tattoo of a Celtic band on his upper left arm.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact police on 08451 25 35 45.
