Burnley-born entertainer Andrew Derbyshire wowed the nation on the latest helping of Britain’s Got Talent.
Andrew, who was an understudy in the West End production of We Will Rock You, again came face to face with feared judge Simon Cowell.
Cowell recognised him from 2001, when Andrew was eliminated in the first round of Pop Idol.
Andrew (31) said: “I do a little bit of office work just to pay the rent, I would be lying if I said that I wasn’t waiting for that break.
“I believe that everything happens for a reason and your time will come eventually. I’ll be back here when I’m 40, won’t I, all Botoxed.”
Andrew has since starred in touring productions of Joseph And The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat as well as singing on an album of the musical Someone Like You.
