Water main burst in Nelson town centre

A WATER main burst under a pavement in Scotland Road, sending water flowing down the road and pavement.
It also had a big impact on the pavement itself, with some areas raised and other falling away, making it a danger to pedestrians.

Water was ousing out of the ground in mini-fountains near the Bull Hotel.

The incident happened this Wednesday morning and United Utilities have been called in to investigate.
