JOHN Sudall won the Walmsley Cup at Burnley when he carded a second round 79-8-71 on Saturday.
That gave him a combined total of 139 for the 36-hole competition and a one-shot win from Ricky Galawan and Keith Ratcliffe.

Sudall also topped Division One of the October Medal from John Corteen (78-7-71) and Galawan (80-7-73).

Division Two honours went to Steve Pickup (89-13-76), Ken Tattersall (89-13-76) and Ratcliffe (87-11-76).

Michael Noonan (86-18-68) was the pick of Division Three, ahead of Alan Garner (89-17-72) and Brian Smith (89-15-74).

And the Division Four prizes went to Paul Swain (90-20-70), David Clark (96-21-75) and Bill Jaggs (104-20-84).
