IT was tight at the top when Mytton Fold members contested the EGU Gold Medal on Saturday.
Great weather resulted in the top 10 finishers all carding below nett par scores.

There was a three-way tie for the lead, settled in the order of Paul Hargreaves (88-20-68), Chris Chadwick (73-5-68) and Phil Clegg (82-14-68).

Division One was won by Josh Davies (86-16-70), with Chris Czyzyk topping Division Two with 92-23-69.

Sunday saw the Mytton Invitational event, with winners Paul Conchie and R. Morby scoring 46 points, some four points clear of second placed Gary Ashton and J. Morgan.

Third, separated by a card play-off, were D. Wellock and D. Bennett, followed by A. Morby and P. Mayers in fourth position.
