Rose Pearson came out on top as Towneley ladies competed in the lady captain's day competition on Sunday.

She shot 90-24-66 to win by two strokes from Pat Robertshaw (99-31-68), and Janet Thompson (97-28-69).

Pam Davenport won the par-threes competitions and the nine-hole stableford was won by Margaret Robinson.

A meal in the clubhouse was held after the day's play, and superb day was had by all.
