THE first major competition of the year at Stonyhurst Park, the Chairman's Chalice, was won by Oliver Bolton with a score of 82-18-64.
Alex Young's 82-15 -67 gave him second place and Dougie Boreham came third with 81-13-68.

Young won the longest drive competition and Boreham was nearest the pin on the fifth hole.

Earlier competition wins for Declan Fitzhenry in the three clubs and a putter competition and the April Medal have given the younger players at Stonyhurst Park an excellent start to the season.
