KEVIN Davies shot a one-under par round of 68 to comfortably score the lowest round of the day at Burnley Golf Club on Saturday.
His nett 65 saw him claim top spot in Division One of the medal and Thornber Cup qualifier by four shots from both Paul Green and Ian Owens.
Dave Barker (78-10-68) won Division Two after a card play-off with Stuart Douglas (79-11-68) with Steve Pickup (83-13-70) in third place.
Terry Yardley (86-17-69) was the pick of Division Three ahead of Stuart Duxbury (86-16-70) and Alistair Higson (84-14-70) and Division Four honours went to Albert Holden (93-24-69), Michael Henry (91-22-69) and Paul Swain (93-21-72).
